The ZT isn't much, if any, wider inside so unless you are considering a ZT-T I wouldn't think there would be much advantage.

Fuel wise a heavier car using the same engine will use more fuel, a larger engine will use more fuel on the urban cycle but should be better on motorways as it will need less throttle to maintain the same speed.
