good news on getting a sheddist kit - will def fix things long term.
I can vouch for the Honda parts, as they have helpd up very well on my car (not quite the same aas sheddist kit as i use the accord/Ti parts) but it coped well with the seriously beefy uprated cover and paddle until the release arm seized on me!
for sure think about a diff if/when you fit the clutch/flywheel..... transforms the drive!
