They say it's because you need to set the timing for the new belt. In reality you don't. The timing won't go out on a new belt, it simply returns to how is was when it was set.
Look at my guide on tool free belt changes. It's easy to do.
Rear belt change only requires the Inlet pulley bolt removing the exhaust bolt is used to hold the exhaust pulley in the correct place so the link belt can be fitted..
There is no need for massive accuracy when tightening stretch bolts. The threshold they yeald at is massive compared to standard torque to yeald bolts. Trust me 25nm using a standard torque wrench +90º is fine.
