Could have been worse, lucky by the sounds of it. I can't see how doing them up by hand will cause them to fatigue, all you will do is bruise the alloy seat of the wheel rather than anything else. If done by the typical mechanics windy gun there there's a different story! 110Nm is not exactly exerting a lot of force.
