The maestro and montego diesels had brass end caps so when I wanted a custom rad for my T16 maestro I had a diesel one recored. Even without rebuilding they have proved to be sufficiant for the T16 tubby.
The 180 rad will be spec'ed to cope with southern european tempretures so I would expect the R45 or diesel ZS rad to be up to the job in the northen half of the UK (but I wont gaurantee this obviously).
