Not done much to the car in the last few weeks, still waiting for my non-conductive mastic-stuff to arrive to finish my wiring loom extension.
Had to replace the battery as the old one was completely gubbed, bought a slowly larger one so now need to set about doing a battery to boot conversion. Have ordered a R75 battery box to mount it in (thanks for the idea Pete!) just need some cabling and fuse.
In other news my rad fan has stopped working now I've replaced it, checked the usual suspects of fuses and relays, checked ecu settings and all seems in order so I'm putting it down to one of two things....either the existence is too high to run the new fan, or removing the air con fan has somehow affected the rad fan operation. If after checking both of them the fan still isn't working then I'm going to just bypass everything and run it from a manual switch.
