Yes, you'll definitely need the V6/Diesel suspension (both are the same).
While out, I'd change a few bits and pieces.
Driveshaft oil seals:
TRX100060,
UNG100060
I'd check wear on the clutch, and replace if needed:
T Series Turbo Clutch - B&B
The Borg clutches can take a fair bit of power in the T Series application, too. We have a couple of customers running forged engines and aftermarket management with no slipping issues.
