Its a real toughie mat...u ain't gonna get the performance with any serious increase in mpg....my bro in law has got the golf gt-tdi 150bhp PD engine, goes like stink and well torquey too and no matter how hard you drive it you'll get over 30mpg...50+ on a run...and a mate has just had an a5 3.0 tdi...i was giving it everything to stay with him, dunno what mpg he gets tho..
