Yeah, I have some friends in Bristol who are happy to look at cars near them, and possibly someone in Manchester who could though haven't spoken to them yet.
Best quote for shipping is around 1250GBP, though I can't remember if that includes insurance or not. Then I've got to get it through our border control etc which won't be cheap, but from what I can work out it should be ok, so long as it's clean and tidy etc.
Budget increases as pennies mount up in bank a/c, or if exchange rate improves
Basically, happy to pay a bit more for a decent car as shipping etc is going to be constant, so might as well bring in the best one I can afford.
There's a couple of Autotrader that look interesting, though not really near enough to anyone I know, and some out of my price range anyway...
