I'm just aware of other 04 plate Mk 2's that have gone for £3,500, mine being one of them. I'm not saying that your cars not worth it, just that if you're going to hold out for that much you might have to wait to find the right buyer.
On the other hand .... I could be totally wrong. Wouldn't be the first time, and won't be the last.
