Were any TF ones available in yellow? I'd advocate the change to a TF wheel anyway - mine feels (and looks) quite a bit nicer - or at least I think so!
It compliments my red Monaco interior very well - even the stitching matches.
The TF wheel is only about 20mm smaller in diameter, so it doesn't make the steering noticeably heavier.
It also has bulbous bits around the ten-to-two position for your thumbs, so is more ergonomically satisfying too.
The only issues when fitting one of these are that the boss is about 5mm shorter, and the slot in the back of the boss which locates into the indicator cancelling mechanism is 90 degrees out. To get round this I made a little metal collar about 5mm thick, with lugs on that locate into the slots in the back of the steering wheel boss, and slots at 90 degrees that locate in the indicator cancelling mech. It's pretty simple really.
Oh, and the earth wire needed to be moved, but that was dead easy too.
