I went to Brands Hatch a few months back to go for a ride in a MG ZR rallycar.........that was a 1.4 and producing over 170bhp...... 0 -60 was ridiculous and we was passing most things on track from a old BMW touring car (1990/1991 M3), Caterhams, Elises plus many other cars that you would not even contemplate toying with.

hi jim. how r u. do you know what the 1.8 turbo k series is tunable. been looking to get mine chipped but cant find anywhere that do them. tryed superchips, bluefin and chiptuning uk. its 160bhp standard so shouldnt be that hard to get it to around the 200bhp mark. or would that be putting to much strain on the engine (head pistons ect)
