I know what you mean, just alot of work using them though, I've gone for the simple approach
heatshrink sleeving where possible. The end caps are more for the water hose though. I very nearly bought a complete engine kit when I was in the states, but it was a bit heavy and though better of it when trying to bring it home in the baggage!
