as said, you need to brim the tank (from the same pump ideally) and run the trip vs L put in....
a part fill is never a true factor.
I log the ZS's milage and L in a spreadsheet - used to be just on paper - and over the years it is always 40-45... my 'best' was 32mpg.... stupid faulty injectors and a lead right foot...
New car coming in a few months, will be half that.. probably worse (am expecting 15!)
