I cleaned my IACV the weekend and although its probably a little early to say i think its improved the sticking throttle issue i was getting. It tended to occur more in the colder weather and it was quite mild this morning so it may still be the same.

However i did notice an irratic idle once i arrived at work but think that may be down to the gasket as when i removed the IACV the gasket was in two parts. I will order a new one from Rimmer in the week.

I cleaned with WD40 and a modified tooth brush then washed out with white spirits. The inside was covered in oil. looking through the hole the removed IACV left i could see the throttle body has a good amount of oil in it also so will need to clean that out to at some point.
