£2.2k is a good price, shame the advert isn't really trying to sell the car, pictures of the engine tell a lot (especially if the LPG is obvious), pictures of the boot, the LPG tank, and the filler do so as well. When was it converted, if it was when new things like the LPG tank need replacing at 10 years. TBH you can't even see the LPG switch and gauge on the dash.

And clearer dates are required for MOT and tax.

And which belt was changed.

As for paying for an LPG conversion, a DIY job is between £600 and £800 depending on the quality or a minimum of £1200 for a conversion, any less will result in a very poor job.

Assuming that car is as good as it appears it has got to be worth the asking price.

Matt, if that is more than you can afford you are really going to struggle, I'd see if I could find the extra if I was you, you will save it suprizingly quickly in reduced fuel bills.
