Those vosa check points are deff becoming more often.. got caught up in one on sat morning, they where mainly looking for stuff that was 'kit builds' to check for road legality etc.. well thats what the guy said and he looked over mine. She got through with the pre cat and decat combo fine... although he did spot it after and said 'naughty naughty' lol. Never knew they could stop you driving the car there and then though but then I suppose if the car is unsafe etc its only right. A nice 30 mins added to my already long journey to work!
