Okay guys I have fianlly got around to sorting out an update and some info on my build

So over 18 months ago I got her back from mapping at 322bhp and 298ft/lb at 14psi. It needed some work to get it road worthy (explained below!)
Thread link here:http://www.rovertech.net/forum/viewt...?f=10&t=146059

After making it road worthy i decided that it was HORRIFIC to drive, the oversized throttle body and fairly hefty injectors made the low speed driving a bit rough and incredibly tricky. So below is a bit of a write up on each component change since getting it back.

Brakes:
So up front my ZS i have fitted Reylands 330mm 4 pot AP Racing stoppers, i had issues initially with the lower arm scrubbing on the back of the disk but after a little bit of tweeking that seems to be sorted. After getting it back with non existant brakes this was my first task.
I managed to source some 330mm Wilwood rear brakes from a Honda. I had to cut one ABS lug off (no issue atall) and the kit fitted on perfectly with no issues.
The next step was to renew my leaking bodged brake lines, originally i had just modified and bodged the original copper pipes to suit after removing the ABS, of course they leaked. So i opted to fit teflon lined stainless hose throughout with stainless fittings, not only does it look neater but i have not noticed any adverse affects on the feel of the pedal.

Inlet Manifold:
The inlet on my car is a custom jobby from a company called Lloyds Specialist Developments, originally I had a 70mm ebay special throttle body sort of thrown on there, it seemed okay but after driving the car I really struggled with the part throttle low speed driving, any movement on the pedal equated to a huge amount of RPM on the engine and subsequently gaining speed rapidly! I have now gone for a Jenvey 60mm unit which with some help from Grant (gb-ent) fits perfectly and increased driveability 10 fold! I'll grab some pics a bit later.

Engine:
Not a massive amount has gone on here since mapping, i have changed the oil cooler lines and included a oil temp sensor, the exhaust manifold and turbo housing have ben ceramic coated and some different fans fitted to aid cooling. The boost pipes have been wrapped now to help keep the heat out. Short of that... i'll let the pictures do the talking

Ignition Coils:
After i confirmed that i did have an ignition problem on cylinder 4 i decided to give myself a bit of a challenge!
In short i have converted over to Honda k20 coil on plug ignition. This provided a few marginal benefits but the main one for me being that all the ignition system now works! I had Omex adjust my Omec 600 ECU to suit the modification and build be a conversion loom. I made the mounting plate and a quick lick of paint hey presto! According the the guys that mapped it the difference was huge (obviously it would be if number 4 wasn't correct in the first place) and much nicer to map.

So the latest is.... the clutch is slipping due to oil on the plates... so a new one is ordered and this thread will be updated accordingly
