Surplus to requirements now, I've used this twice and it's a great piece of kit.
Sealey VS1290 engine locking set, suitable for timing belt changes on a range of MG Rover vehicles fitted with the KV6 engine. It's also suitable for the 190 version of the KV6 engine, as the extra sprocket adaptor plates are included (not included with the retail kit). I've used this kit twice to do the belts on my 180.
Also included is a "home made" crankshaft pulley holding tool, which makes removing the crankshaft pulley bolt a much easier task! Whilst it's not a perfect fit, it is certainly up to the job. The original Sealey part is VS1292, and last time I looked was retailing at around £80, so I made my own!
Full instructions included. Looking for offers in the region of £150, well worth the money, especially with the 190 adaptors and crank pulley holding tool!
