If the car salesman can't accept that they have misrepresented the vehicle and work with you to sort the problem out you are best to walk away from it. There are plenty of other cars out there.
If the car truly does have a 2L K4 engine then you are likely to have problems insuring it and will also have to have the engine rebuilt regularly (the Judd 2L engine has a 5,000 mile life between rebuilds, if I remember correctly).
