Using
http://www.fuelly.com/driver/talkingcars/zs the best I've managed is 30MPG on a long run so 43mpg would be brilliant, sorry to put a dampener on it though, the only really accurate way to measure consumption is brim to brim as the fuel gauge isn't that acurate.
