What do i 'want' first - ITG or De-cat?

...Obviously i want both, but MOT is coming up fairly soon (June 22) and i need a little 'peace of mind' work done, so will be after that.

Have had a niggling urge for a while now about both of these, but not sure which one i want more.

I pick the ITG over the BMC as i like things neat, and the pipe that comes with the ITG connects onto the throttle body without the 2nd small filter that is required for the BMC.

I would think the ITG will give you more BHP over the Decat (?), but of course with a decat you can sound like a touring car so... tough call!

Personally I'll be getting the decat first, although I heard my car drive past me for the first time yerterday (was at the garage for MOT) and tbh it sounds pretty damn good already - especially when the mechanic changed from 1st to 2nd and the exhaust burbled! Pure sex!

ITG is an out of the box install and I would suggest that modification over the decat first and foremost. Definately get the decat done soon after as it is a superb mod just for shear driving pleasure!

The ITG will open up at least another 10bhp for you and the KV6 needs to breath. Only downside is the expense of the darned thing!

If it was me, I'd go for the induction kit. More expensive than a decat though so depends how much money you have to spend.

Like i say... I want both so the net outgoings will be the same. Just in a different order.

I do love the popping of the exaust though. I can't park it up in the garage at night without giving it a couple of little blips of the throttle so i can hear it.

A decat is under £100, ITG around £350.
