Looking at a car on Saturday, but have a decision to make
Car is Typhoon in colour, does need some TLC but I can do that with no issues, belts HAVE been done
Other is Spectre (sure of it) but bodywork is immaculate but interior sucks (green) belts not been done
Both same distance from me bar 20 miles so not a travelling issue
What do I do

Report back when you have looked at BOTH of them.
You are looking at both of them aren't you?

I've been after a Typhoon ZS for ever but never see any a sensible distance from me It's one of those colours that needs a carefull paintwork check as it's very difficult to repair any damage !! It a bonus if the belts have been done as that saves a few quid!!
What I'd do is get the one with the best body as everything else can be replaced

James, no not looking at both as they're both a 8 hr round trip away from me, meaning 2 full days of travelling just to decide
Going for the first option, typhoon, interior is lovely and nothing I haven't got already that can't fix it in spares
The other I will report back on here with some useful info as its bloody lovely, but not having the belts done bugs me and the interior is green colour coding but bolsters are dead and ugly lol
It has the sheddist kit fitted too, so may be worth a look for someone

Explain? do you mean put my blue on in Spectre and green in my blue one???
Thought about that and I'd never sell my TB one with green interior

Sorry, thought you meant they were 20 miles apart.
Where abouts are the 2 cars, can you not see one had then the other, go to the one you prefere second.

One in Cheshire, other near London
Just too much of a travel distance, so just not practical tbh
After discussion and what I want to do in terms of overall plans the typhoon is more subtle as it looks Blue most of the time, the Spectre stands out but I'd need the belts and interior changed = £££
Yes I know I still need to spend on the Typhoon, inlet plenum and some bumper issues and a clean up, but that's the enjoyment right??
I don't want to buy a car I can't work on and enjoy being my own...
