Is it 11,000 or 110,000 Chris?

?4800 is probably the most expensive I've seen a 54 180 priced at. The belts being done is saving you about ?500 if you had to do it yourself for another car.

Have a look at autotrader to see what the general price for 54 180s is at the moment. ?3k plus your Stilo sounds a lot to me.

It's 11,000miles... yeah ive been lookin for a while now and I no most are up to 3000 but that's roughly at lowest between 30000 to 50000miles not as low mileage and saves me the hassle of selling my car... I don't no I do and don't think it is,
least I would get for my stilo is 2000 then at most another grand towards another zs to buy, then it prob will need belts, maybe tax or mot and would prob be higher mileage...

Have a look at Autotrader, price up the Stilo and check54 plate 180's, with belts done and low miles, its down to you what you think its worth.

Down to condition really. Does seem pricey though.

11,000 is stupidly low mileage As Peter says, as long as you know what other similar cars are worth, it's just a case of taking a view on it and balancing up whether an extremely low mileage and tidy car is worth the extra cash.

My car has very low mileage, and it's 3 times as much as that one The Alcantara interior is also desirable. Generally people prefer the saloon over the hatch.

The main thing to check for on a test drive is a rattle from the plenum. If it rattles then it'll likely need a new one (?500 brand new). Other things are test for are that the 2x VIS motors are working correctly. Unfortunately, you can't really test this without equipment, but generally, if the car pulls well from 2k and is pulling harder past 4k then they're all working fine. If it feels lethargic then it's possible that one of both of them aren't working. They are ?100 new to replace and there's 2 of them. At 11k miles you'd imagine the plenum and the VIS motors would be working well. See if you can get an extended warranty on those parts.

The real question is are you happy to pay the extra? If so will you be keeping it for a long time? Just remember it is a buyers market and those selling are taking a hit on their true values. I don't agree with the low prices but the market dictates what this is.

at 11,000 miles your hardley going to get a rattling plenum.... and I have to say that cars about ?3000 worth.... its a hatch for a start.... much less desirable than the saloon... and yes the low mileage is a plus, BUT these cars handle high mileage without any major problems ..... and all you doing with your car is giving it to the dealer for free , sorry but thats MY opinion for what its worth matey
