Thinking of buying this
My Golf got condemned at MOT today so I need another car. I am kind of constrained by geography, so not really willing to travel. Would be better buying trade for some sort of guarantee, even if just a few months.
Is it expensive? (bearing mind it's Aberdeen where everything is expensive)
Would probably offer 1k for it ,m if its worth it. I'd like another MG as, having two MGFs for 10 years, I know how to fix everything lol
I'm not too bothered about speed/performance etc, just a comfy car for chewing miles up

I see you made the migration from .org, good to see you over here
Have you thought about a diesel, especially if you're doing a fair few miles?
Cheers

Seems to be a good car, FSH will sway any decision. Passenger seat looks grubby, or is it the photo? Drivers bolster looks saggy, but overall not bad for an 04.

Cheers guys. Seat does look a bit dodgy, but interior looks grubby full stop, so I am sure i can clean it up myself.
Not too keen on diesels, I don't do a lot of miles, just for 2-3 hours in length at a time, so comfort is important ...mostly noise (I do it in the F, so anything more comfortable than that will do lol)
I've been a member here since 2007 and made a few posts, but obviously not having a Zed limited my visiting frequency lol
OK, you've put my mind at ease, so might go and see it tomorrow and see what its like to drive. Any ZS specific things to check for, other than the usual MG ones

It doesnt mention FSH in the ad, so probably not. I am not too bothered, I can service myself and fix most things. I am guessing timing belt wont have been done if only at 65k?, unless HG has gone

I'd be more inclined to go for the one that's being sold on here for £1500 by one of the site traders to be honest. Few hundred more but a Mk2 with 180 kit ....
Welcome to the site by the way ....
