As some of you may remember I was and still am still looking for a ZS to have as my first car. I stumbled across this on ebay...
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT
Never heard of a ZS 105 before, I thought the smallest engine was the 1.6 110. Anyway, is the car genuine ie. does the ZS 105 exist and does anyone know is the insurance will be much better than a 110? Oh and what does everyone think of this particular car?
Thanks Muchly

yeah it was generally only in ireland that they exised though for emmissions, the 105 actually has poorer fuel consuption than the 110, you basically need to drive it harder to drive normally which is also putting the engine under more strain as well, it is a nice looking car though, bumper looks a bit saggy and look at the drivers bolster for any wear if you are going to buy it
personally id go for a 110 though if i could get one

Some insurance companies have problems with the 105 as it's not always on their system as only produced for ireland.

Prob just like micras having a v6 on the back, gives the impression it's more powerful, prob down to the 180 kit.

Underpowered for such a sized car. These models, as stated in the ad, were destined for other markets than the UK, when MGR collapsed the remaining models were bought on the cheap from UK based dealerships hence the circulation. I wouldn't bother as you may have grief getting insurance etc. The 180 badge is purely to go with the 180 bodykit option it has.

Don't let that bother you, my 120 had the 180 badges on the wings when I got it from an MG dealer with the previous owner being Paul someone C/O MG- Rover Group, Longbridge.
