The paint shop that we use would charge significantly more than that. You would probably be looking around £2,500 to £3,000 for a ZS in a standard colour.

BTW this paint shop was used by MG Rover to paint the ZR rally cars and many of the prototypes.

I'd say that's getting towards the minimum you'd be quoted. Last i heard a cheap re-spray was £1500 (and that was a few years back).

The prices quoted will just be for a basic respray, for the full works ie take the windows out, door checks, in the engine bay it will be in the region of what Ralph said, dont expect much from £5k

I was quoted £2K to go White .... full re-spray including door shuts etc last month when I was asking about someone photoshiopping mine in either white or Orange .... (no takers on the photoshop thread). I reckon a once over in the same colour would be on the good side of £1000.

Depends though .... go on reputation .... loads of money. Go on a full colour change, loads of money ..... Go for the same colour .... not so much.

it depends on the place you go to for a full re spray your looking realistically between 1000 and 3000 pounds! more towards 3000 for a colour change though! and as a sprayer myself i know the costs of labour and paint!
