Need Help!

I have the misfire back again. It seems to happen at low speeds and just after I change gear, it's like a slight jerk, and doesn't seem like it fires properly when you press the accelerator at low revs (don't notice at high revs).

I have changed the spark plugs (which did cure the problem for a while) got a new TPS as the old one was kerfunkled, had oil change, cleaned the IAC.

Anyone shed any light??

I did think that. How do I check the coils to see which one it might be? I will just change the leads anyway I think.

rbull51 is on a distinguished road
I had something similar recently. I suspected leads or coils so i took the plastic cover off the top of the engine and had a look when it was dark. I could see sparks jumping all over one of the leads. But because i still used it while i had leads on order it buggered the one coil up. So new leads and a coil later all was well again!!

Does sound like a coil pack. Do you have an OBD-II reader?

I will have a look in the dark when I can but I will be ordering some new leads anyway. Just hope that's it and it hasn't spread to the coil pack

Yep, and the only fault that is now coming up is the post cat O2 sensor. If you saw the state of the cat's casing you'd know why, decat in order there I think
