Don't get me started ...... !

Not for me. I got mine for good money - had the belts done and had it serviced - got her performing like it should and have a few bits to add to it now for when funds allow for fitting.

Quite contented pal.

Would it be worth swapping a 1.8 for the diesel? I do about 8k a year.....

Never driven a 1.8 but don't really think there is a lot in it performance wise. Managed to pick up some cheap mods for the diesel - SDi injectors ?40 delivered and a decat ?50 - to boost the power hopefully to about 130ish and not sure if you can do that with the 1.8. Confident that with a remap I'll be around 150bhp with good in gear acceleration due to the torque.

MPG wise - I'm getting 48 at the moment on my commute which is stop start in the morning and cruising at M'way speeds on the return. Not sure how that compares. You'd need to factor in the extra cost for diesel.

Looks like it could be sold, I just been on Facebook and one of my friends on there has put as his status that hes just put a deposit on a black diesel Mk2 ZS with full 180 body kit on it. Im guessing its this one. Nice car
