mpg for the 120's

been looking at getting rid of the 180 because of the fuel consumption and next years tax prices. what are you 120/1.8 owners getting mpg wise and total amount of miles out of a full tank. does any body know what the tax prices are for them. thanks guys

The 120 puffs out 174g/km of CO2 so that should make it £205 VED in 2009 and £210 for the following year. The combined cycle quoted by MGR is 38.9mpg and when I had my 120 I remembered getting around 35mpg under normal driving condition. Heard others getting abit more than that. I am guessing you should really get around 400 miles out of a tank.

I get that type of figure in my 180 so no reason why a 120 can't get 400 miles to a tank. I had 400 miles out of my 180 once. Obviously all depends on how you drive.

I have had between 450 & 500 (with a light foot) believe it or not from a full tank.... Concidering its a 1.8 its quite good on fuel, yet still fun to frive aswell.

Most I got was just over 400 miles but the light had only just come on. usually get around 360 with the needle just above the red. Get around 35 mpg on average.

300 on a motorway drive I had 200 to about half a tank on the motorway, that sounds VERY low

i did just over 200 miles on £25 in my 180 to bedford and back on monday and the occasional hit of 110mph occured too thats a better figure than my 1.4 astra estate works car, how bads your 180b doing on petrol evberyone selling there 180 shouldnt because fingers crossed labour aint getting in and i think because of the amount of people unsure yet of this road tax scandel is untrue. once everyone gets their bills for tax i think everyones going to hit the roof and will finally get some balls and agree that we are not going to accept our living costs.
