noise from rear left wheel

noise from rear left wheel, started about 4 days ago, gets louder as I go faster, like a loud droaning noise. would it be wheel bearing? and how long can I leave it before I get it sorted?

If it is bearing don't leave it too long incase the race collapses, a worn bearing places stress in the hub. Hopefully it is nothing but get it checked by jacking the car up, use axle stands, then grab the wheel at 6 o'clock and see if there is any play.

Yeh its the bearing. The bearings come as part of a hub so its dearer to buy but easy to fit.

I second that, I did the 2 front ones, it was a bit of a mission, I only did them cos I fitted lengthened wheel studs.

My wheel bearing is on its way out too. Funnily enough it's on the nearside rear as well.
