Scrap yard 180

There is a Zed hatch 180 in a scrappy near me in TY blue with the blue and black interior. And sure it was on a set of straights..Was also a ZR105 with a set of straights and in yellow..

Was talking to the guy but was a bit funny with me, but he said its for sale and not breaking just yet but good chance it will end up for bits as its sat since January doing nothing. No tax or Mot and something to do with the belt jumping but he was being very vague.. Wanted £450 for it too dear for my liking but when he breaks it could be use to a few around my way and Glasgow?..

Would the clutch components be the same on Mk1 and Mk2. Specifically Master & Slave cylinders + pluming ?

I deal with him a lot, they are usually cheap for parts. I think it depwnds if he likes you or not though i tendto engage him in conversation then come to the cost of parts last.

I'm not his biggest fan... The only scrappy I know that charges VAT on top of the price... I prefer Cadburys in Dumbarton. I get on well with him.

He charges everyone VAT now.. Maybe cos he knows you he is doing you "a favour"

I get on better and deal with old Eric but the son does give you cheaper parts.
