Oh no! I hope the engine hasn't taken in any water................that would be real bad news Ric.

I had a scary moment last night as the bottom of the slip road was flooded, I was in two minds whether to continue or take a different route. I sat there for a few minutes and watched the cars going through it to gauge the depth. I decided to drive around it after waiting for the oncoming 'bow waves' to diminish!

NO! don't bump it, the cat doesn't like it! If I were you I would check the air filter system for signs of water, also remove the throttle body flexi-hose and see what's in there. Slide the air filter out like I showed you.

On top of what Stamford has said, you could disconnect the injectors and take the plugs out, spin the engine over on the starter and let the pistons pump out any water that may be in the bores. Still new here so don't know what engine you have, would be easy on a K4 but I know the back 3 plugs on the V6 are a bit of a pain to get to.
