Brands Hatch
Took my ZS to Brands Hatch on sunday, got drive along the start finish straight, to get to my marshalling post.
So not quite a track day, but he has been on the hallowed tarmac!

Got a taste for it now????
Novice days are fun, used to be ?25 + ?10 helmet hire for an hour on track.
Looked the other day and its now a day or half day, which pushes up the price.

I love Brands, a right handful at times when busy and it keeps you on your toes!

... and the fresh bit of tarmac doesn't have much grip in the wet!

That's cheap! I thought it was ?25 for 20 minutes. I'd of made more of an effort to get there!

You had to follow a lead car round for the first few laps to learn the bends etc. then you were let loose!!
Found that for me it was just about the right time, long enough to get a real feel of the track, but not long enough to over stress the car, or the driver!!!
As you say great value, real taster session.

They came with it. Been marshalling since 1989, and it never gets any warmer lol. Got a great view from the hill though, and over 80 cars.
