Neded mk2 front end:
Hey Folks, Bumped Monty this morning....
Need: Bonnet, Mk1 or Mk11.
Mk11 Front bumper and lights.
Any colour, as it will all need to be painted.
Repair Center have estimated 2.5k !?!?!?!
its looks cosmetic, and there are no apparent leaks from rad, so we have to wait and see...

I paid about the same for my front end bump earlier this year. It didn't need new lights, but did include a new wing and some chassis realignment. That price sounds about right for a quality job.

Sorry to hear about this.
It amazes me how much these places charge, they wanted ?800 to repair a wing on mine, TBH I was suprised the insurance company didn't want to write it off, I sorted it for ?25.

Where'd ya go for your estimate Paul, try Chirton Repair Centre near TESCO. They're in the industrial estate on the right just past TESCO on the way down to meadow well, did my ZS for me a few years ago and a pretty good job.
