have you guys ever had this?

When I took apart my balance vis I re soldered the joins ect tested it and got nothing so I took a look at the board and found that 2 of the tracks had burnt out..this ever happened to any of you?? Also here is the repair I did..

Its not going to put stress on any of the parts because i could really do without another car fire lol... although the last was started by a chav with petrol.

Well my understanding is that the oil vapours mix with dust from the brushes on the motors to create a paste that can be the cause the board to short and burn out. Brushless motors dont wear the same and last longer than brushed versions.

Have a look through here http://forums.xpowerforums.com/showt...&highlight=vis page 2 a few motors are discussed. May be better off asking Kev himself
