For Sale - Ultimate Spec Trackday ZS

I'm selling my fully prepped ZS track day car and am looking for ?1,500. The sale does not include the engine, gearbox or ECU.

The car has an awesome, ultimate track spec and is worth twice what I'm asking in parts, however, I don't want to break it as its such a good package. I've spent a lot of money getting the suspension and set-up right and it has perfect handling.

There is lots of video of this car on the web, but here's a link:-

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4sL84rete3k

Its a 51 plate car well known on this and other MG forums. The body and paint are in very good condition although as you'd expect its not perfect (no rust though). It has brand new Eibach/SPC adjustable upper arms (caster and camber), adjustable rear arms, coilovers, Wilwood calipers and disks on ally bells at the front and drilled and grooved rears with standard calipers. I had a half cage made up by Tornado only 6 months ago.

The interior is fully stripped and I fitted a Mini heater/demister to it although this is currently disconnected.

The MOT and tax have currently expired but it is still fully road legal.

If you're interested please PM me, email me on dc5583@gmail.com, or phone on 07921 108 922. The car is located in Leicester.

Here's the full spec:

Ultra light 17" Rota Boost 17x7.5 with good Bridgestone RE050A tyres (lots of tread)
Rear Upper and Lower Braces
Avo Coilovers with 2 sets of springs (stiffest currently fitted)
Front - Wilwood 310mm disks on alloy bells, Wilwood 4pot calipers with Performance Friction Pads + a brand new boxed set of pads
Rear - drilled and grooved disks with Green Stuff pads + brand new boxed set of Green Stuff pads
Goodridge braided brake hoses
Front Eibach/SPC fully adjustable alloy upper arms (-2.5 deg camber)
Rear Adjustable Upper Arms (-1.5deg of Chamber)
Front ARB Poly Bushes and Droplinks
Rear ARB Poly Bushes and Double Droplinks
Duplex exhaust (very quiet and OK for any UK track)
Poly Gearlinkage Bushes
Air Con Removed And OE Fans replaced with single 12" David Craig fan
Short Shift
Redtop Lightweight Battery in box behind Passenger Seat
Cobra Suzuka GT composite drivers Seat
Cobra Imola GT composite passenger Seat
Passenger Foot Rest
Flocked Dash with Blue inserts
Mourtney Steering Wheel
Sparco Gearknob
Sabelt 3 Point Harnesses (with OMP Cutter)
Interior Stripped
Extreme rear spoiler
L/H fog light removed for cold air feed
R45 clear headlamps
Plastic Perspex windows with driver's window slider and vents
Mini heater/demister (disconnected at present)
Aluminum Sunroof Bung

Stoopid question but why no engine?

And can it be included for additional pennys?

I guess the running gear will be used in his other car. It's been heavily modified from what I remember reading, forged pistons etc.

Nice spec for sure, it'll take a serious ZSer to buy it like this. Expect Ross to step in

The engine went pop on a track day back in August, so is maybe going to be rebuilt for another project.

Could you follow Dans guide and drop a turbo motor in ???

Not that I would.

Best of luck with the sale, seems you get a lot for your money.

....then I spent a shed load more too. Not sure what you mean about the money not making it to the right man though. In reality this car has had a serious amount of money spent on it and is worth a lot more than ?1500....

For those that have asked - I'm keeping the engine and gearbox to strip for parts (its dead) to go into the mid-engined KV6 track car I have (the one I'm building the 250bhp NASP for).
