Unusual coloured mk2 or was it?
Whilst at work in the kitchen making a hot beverage of apparant south American origin my attention was drawn to a car driving past. Said powered carriage looked like a mk2 ZS with full 180 kit and 'lexus' lights. The colour somewhat threw me as it looked just like the RAF blue tone..........................then realised it was probably similar to AlanF's recently demised 45 in a similar hue. Now if it was a mk2 45 then I must admit to not ever remembering seeing such a colour let alone a ZS. Can anyone shed some light on this find? Just a tad curious.

Was it possibly a Lancaster Bomber?

Could be a Monogram one, not scanned very well:
Chagall, 3rd down on right, or Nocturne, 2nd down on left, look a little like RAF blue on the chart.

No, it's the dull blue/grey of the RAF, shade not seen on the chart and defo not a Lancaster Bomber as the wing wasn't big enough!

Could be, was a 54 plate which puts it at 50/50
