MK2 180 alarm issues

Mainly does the alarm have a siren, if mine goes off all it does is flash the lights which is no good if im in bed !

Yep it should have a shrill ear splitting siren mate. Have you taken it apart to check for soggy sounder syndrome? I have a spare sounder, rebuilt and re-sealed you can buy if needed

cheers where is it located ? dont think mines ever gone off in the 4 years of ownership

Unbolt coolant tank and lift, the sounder lives under there Take it out, unscrew the 4 screws and see if there is water inside, if your good with soldering and electrics you may be able to repair it so sounder works but what you need to do, I'm not sure that way depends what is fried, it might just be battery pack inside it
