God dam vis!!

Was testing some half built vis indicators a while ago, I know should have been bench tested but was cutting corners by testing them on my way to uni. Anyone one was faulty and i had a small fire caused by a shorted LED. Eversince my my motors have been playing up.

Took them both out today and checked the over, no noticable faults, fitted a spare balance motor I haad and resoldered all the joints on the power one, stuck them back in. Car now seems more responsive but still getting no lights when floored below 3k. Which would indicate a balance fault but im damed if im taking it out again!

Was also shocked at how much oil was in the manifold, might have to have a look at my catch tank as doesnt seem very effective!

Ain't that the truth, never have any problems then all goes awol at once! I've been fairly lucky as I am on my original two units and have refurbed them a few times with the worst bit being a replacement motor. Considering how cheap the parts are we don't do too bad with them.

Yer Ive got two spare units, just waiting on lawrence to publish is findings then will give them a complete refurb with new motors then least I know both units are good.

Will do but my zed is really trying to put my blood pressure up so I have had to time to play with them lol.

No rush its taken me about 2-3months to take mine out and look at them so completely understand.
