Took advantage of the (half) decent weather today......

.... and gave my car a bit of a clean and finished a few mods that have been waiting to happen. Wanted to polish too but didnt get time. Oh well.

Here it is after being cleaned.....

Windows now tinted....

Got a few new stickers.....

New seats, courtesy of Evo Leigh....

New steering wheel....

From this....

To this in 2 seconds!!!....

And finally fitted VIS indicators, all working fine!!!

Very happy with her atm. Worked out that I have only covered 3,600 miles in 18 months so I need to start getting to these meets I think!!

Looking good, seats and steering wheel finish it off.

Nice mods, looking good. Call me stupid, but what's the jog dial next to mirror adjuster for?

I was going to ask that, I guess it is for the dials.

What are the extra gauges?

You're probably right, seen the night shots of them dials on some recent thread and I like them a lot. Jog dial must be the dimmer...

You are correct Mr Serbia. That is the dimmer for the Plasma Glow dials.

The gauges are oil temp, oil press, vacuum and voltage. Oil ones arent wired in yet though as Im waiting till I do an oil change before I fit the sandwich plate.

Cheers Peter. The seats from the MK2 are so much nicer!!!!!!

A little word on the steering wheel for anyone who wants an even better driving experience from the ZS......

I would definitely recommend fitting a smaller wheel, whether it be aftermarket or F/TF. I only went aftermarket over F/TF as I already had the SnapOff sitting in a toolbox!

The steering has become even more precise and the car actually feels even nicer to drive. The F/TF steering wheel is such a cheap mod to do too
