just seen my poor baby

so just went to look at her in a wet and dark ford garage

so as far as i could see the frount and rear bumpers have been pushed in moved no paint damage no cracks just pushed off the holding clips the frount bonnet looks a bit pushed in but couldnt tell in the light the boot does not close properly just bounces open but know dent or damage.....strange

now she said the rad was busted in but i couldnt see anything that could have done this could a pipe have poped off or some thing simple well they are looking at it tomorrow so hopefully its ok and will be an easy fix....

after they do it all if they do then i'm taking it to an mg garage ..EMS in kent may be and get a full service, engiene check and full once over as a ford garage doing my baby im not sure.....

but not looking to bad but my luck is never that good......

if they write it off i think i will get it anyway and sort it cant be that bad can it.......

so have now seen the pics from the crash and there is a dent in the rear boot but that should come out ok

the problem i can see is there is a large amount of brown fluid coming out of the engiene bay from the right side as you look at the car so is that coolant or something else any ideas i thought the coolent was green or yellowish but then i havent had it changed since i got it so could be years old......

any ideas

R8NMG will become famous soon enough
Hope you get your car sorted soon. Mk2 is rare as it is so don't want another in the scrapheap. Mine is currently in the bodyshop thanks to my neigbour scraping my front bumper and cracking the front spat.

This is some bad **** mate. Hope it gets sorted. I work for a ford garage that does accident repairs. One guy pointed out to me 'be a nightmare for parts mate'. 'Not really says I not with x-part, a really good forum i know of (wonder which one ) and the fact that we have a branch in our own company that specialises in rover/mg). 'Oh he says, yeah spose so'. What the hell do they know? they willingly work on fords for gods sake. lol
