Failed MOT!!!!
Just back from the garage with a nice list of failures.
All stupid little things but still a pain!!

Both number plates, because they have a honeycomb affect,
Cv joint gater. Bust
Ball joint dust cove bust
1 corroded brake pipe
Couple of ball joint split pins missing.

Oh and handbrake not efficient enough. (14%) I'm sure pass is 16%?

Oh mine has honeycomb too and its been on the car since 2005 purchased from Halfords.

It seems they changed the MOT rules to exclude the older honeycombed effect plates for cars post 2001. I know some manufacturers actually fitted such a plate when sold new, Merc being one I can remember from back then.

Honeycomb plates been been an MOT failure for years, shows that your MOT station doesn't play by the rules....
