620ti ecu

Someone is interested in my console but they are asking about the torque app which runs from the odb port. A quick search says the 620 ecu doesn't support odb?

Its a mk2 zs with 620ti engine and ecu btw

IIRC even some of the early 45's weren't OBD2 compatable, it became a requirment in 2001 for petrol and 2004 for diesel.

Late pre OBD2 Rovers had a socket the same shape but it's wired differently so can't be read by an OBD2 reader.

That's annoying lol hopefully they'll decide its still worth it without the torque app side of it.

There is someone on one of the MGF forums developing an interface to access all versions of MEMS and is borrowing my KV6 ecu to add this as well and hopes to cover other systems as well, he is looking at £150 for a unit you plug into the diagnostic socket and into a USB port, this should resolve the problem when it becomes available in September.

It would need to be Bluetooth to work with the tablet.

Actually thats not strictly true I have an adapter that extends the micro usb port on my tablet into a full USB port, so you *could* get it working with one of them if no bluetooth functionality.

<Geek Mode>I also have a USB to serial adaptor, and a Cisco console lead, then with a quick serial app from the store I can use my tablet (android or iPad) to read Cisco switches via the console! Which is very useful when a full laptop is not too hand or space is limited</Geek Mode>
