Burning smell

Ive had this for a while now. I thought it was an electrical burning smell, but my dad reckons its more like burning rubber. Only seems to appear on hills/slopes though!

not loose wiring on the hego then, sure your not smoking your tyres going up hills:P you havent got any new speakers fitted or an induction kit with a silicone tube perhaps? you can get quite a lot of smell off new silicone rubber somtimes, other than that dunno unless i could look at it, check theres nothin touching the heater matrix or anything

hego?

Induction kit was installed in March so dont think its that.

I fitted a sub around the time of the smell but cant see how the smell would be coming from the front!?

Heated Exhaust Gas Oxygen Sensor / lambda sensor, just incase the wire wasnt connected in right, well make sure your wiring to your sub isnt chaffing anywhere and the fuse is okay

I'll have a proper look at that then.
Also, do you mean the fuse in the sub or the car?
