MOT fail for this?

Hey lads,

My car is in for its MOT tomorrow. My wing indicator bracket disintegrated a while ago and the indicator is kinda just jammed into the recess to hold it in position.

Would this be a MOT fail do you reckon?

Pic?

If the lens is missing then that might be a fail, is the bulb clear or coloured?

There's no lens missing. It just isn't sitting properly in its bracket as it should. Bracket is gone, indicator is sitting a bit pushed sideways being held in position by the bodywork. Clear lens, orange bulb. Don't have pic

Smile

Think the rule is no metal edges that could cut, so gaffa tape to hold it in and cover the metal edges should be OK.

Unless the tester has had a **** day, and then who knows.

Best of luck.
