Rover Metro VVC with PG1 box

19995 M plate GTI Metro. In Green

MOT December
Taxed last week for 6 months

this is one quick motor that handles suprisingly well, when i say quick i mean quick, as quick as a m3 convertable, quicker than a leon cupra r. its effortless drive and on 30 quid of fuel returned 250 plus miles inc some booting it..
*cage not included*

Engine Bay

160 VVC with PG1
Scorpion Exhaust
De cat
Trick manifold (think its a janspeed)
Induction Kit
52mm Alloy throttle body
Oil and Coolant change last week
Brake fluid changed last week

Shell
Re-spray 2 years ago and still in fantastic condition
Gti Rims with tyres (all legal 3/4mm all round)
Gti Brakes
Anti Roll Bars
Suspension Individualised
MGF Hydro units on front
Brand new number plates
Brand new wiper blades (aero style things)
Striped out other than two front seats, (have the rears)
Tinted windows (slightly scratched as a few years old but look good)
Colour coded bumpers
Lockwood Dials
5as With Fob
New disks and Pads (rear shoes adjusted too)
NO RUST.. (see below though)

Bad bits (every car has them)

Slight ding on drivers door
The N/S/F tyre goes down every 2 weeks
IT has has welding on the jack points in the past, however when i pulled the floor up there is a small bit of rust still either that or they just over plated it and diddnt cut it out.
there is a slight knock when on and of the throttle from a mount, i did check them but couldnt find any wrong doings, either that or somthings touching the bonnet when its closed..

Its a quick little car, that dosnt need a great deal, i have added a fair few items to the lists above last weekend. Drive away and have fun

£1500

I've always liked the look of the sporty metros and this is a very good example.

Shame I'm in the market for a MGF and not a metro.

A good place to advertise will be metro power.

Legal requirment is 1.6mm across the centre 3/4 and visable on the rest, I trust this is just a typo.

Think he probably means 3 to 4 mm all round. Not three quarters. That is a track car for everyone out there giving the big .... "I'm gonna track my car" ..... etc etc

im half tempted to keep it as i havnt really had much intrest in it for the time its been for sale, but i have other plans and to many toys lol.

i still think its a brilliant road car and yesterday when the sun was out and hte mrs got in from work i decided to go for a blat in this and had a hoot with several cars also doing the same thing

cupra r
320 bmw who laughed at me for a tiny minite when i was behind them (3 in car with baseball caps lol)
some alfa special eddition thing
lancia delta thing
and a corsa 1.2 who i could see trying to catch me up at roundabouts lol..

put a smile on my face, cost me about 5 quid in fuel and as the engine is only lightly moddified its hardly a strain on it.. power to weight could just do with some better make/softer tyres

1.6mm over 2/3.............. not 3/4

ummm...this is very tempting for me as a everyday car. Will see what happens with my insurance payout.
