Rust..

While giving the Zed a bit of love today, as the sun came out, and my visit from the council was earlier than expected. Changed the cone filter, which as you can see was a bit dirty. It was beyond cleaning. Then next I took the wheels off and cleaned all the mucky leaves, that had hidden in the crevaces. While up on axle stands checked for any corrosion from the winter. Nope all clean, however I did find some rust...................I noticed my boot was wet, so took wheel, toolkit out, to find the well wet....Noticed water drips from above my head..Would you believe, as per the pics my drainage channet was rusty, to the extent that water was getting under the rubber!!!!!

K-rusted the metal, and will fill in the gaps before putting the rubber back, with maybe a bit of sealant....What a strange place to go.
