Project drive and the implications on the zs?

So as I understand it the mk2 ZS s were most afected by mg rovers costcutting? Is it best to full coat the underside with a good waxoyl then or what? Arches etc etc? Even the old 400s rust bady on the arches.

Yeah, I've been meaning to waxoyl my fuel tank as a start but the weather hasnt been on my side.

Apart from the fuel tank the underside of my car is pretty good and covered. It's even been sprayed in the x power grey colour.

But then i did get one of the first ones in the showroom.

Waxoyl is a sticky oily spray that is used to protect metal from the elements... IIRC it's about £20/gallon.

VW used so much wax in their cavities it used to slowly leak out, especially the tailgate staining the plastic bumper.

Yeah I meant a coat of red oxide then some underseal or whatever you choose.

It was recommended to me when I went down my local motorfactors in search of underseal, so dont really know much about it myself.
