I think that is something that needs to be considered, none of our cars are new, or even nearly new anymore...
those of us that live in damp/salty areas get more rot to deal with due to the environment - mine shows the onset of quite a lot of corrosion, and so we undersealed the car last year... but anything exposed for me gets marked....
I think the 180's might be more likely to be 'abused' than the derv's or 1.8's just by the nature of those that might pick them up for cheap motoring (and also not care about the vehicle)
